This $1.9-million project widened the sidewalks, added beautiful brick pavers and incorporated landscaping to accommodate pedestrian comfort and outside dining.
Funded by the DID, the project was skillfully completed by Jon F. Swift, Inc. and its subcontractors Gulf Breeze Landscape, Brick Pavers, Inc., and IDA Irrigation Design Associates, with the help of consultants DWJA Landscape Architects and Cavoli Engineering. With work on the project being sandwiched between a July 4th parade and a Veteran’s Day parade in November, its completion was made possible by the efforts of the City’s Chief Planner Steve Stancel and Project Manager Richard Winder.
